Peer review is the backbone of scholarly publishing. Peer reviewers play an essential role in ensuring the quality of research published in Frontiers. Their contribution is critical to the success of the journal and, more importantly, to the field of education abroad. Frontiers' peer review process is guided by our Peer Review Policy.
Information for Peer Reviewers:
When a colleague agrees to serve as a peer reviewer for a submitted manuscript, they are given the guide "For Peer Reviewers: Writing the Review" to help them prepare a review which is substantive, detail-oriented, and outlines clear action items for improving the manuscript. Peer reviewers are also asked to identify any potential conflicts of interest that could complicate their review, in accordance with the journal's Conflict of Interest Policy.
