Frontiers: The Interdisciplinary Journal of Study Abroad is a platinum open-access journal, which means that content is freely available to the public via our website immediately upon publication. Additionally, the editors work to ensure that journal articles are indexed in academic databases so that content is discoverable and citable to colleagues working with a variety of tools and platforms.

Digital records of all Frontiers content and policies are stored in The Forum's digital records on Dickinson College's secure servers and backed up by our web host in order to ensure continual access to our content in perpetuity. Digital copies, as well as paper copies of the journal's print editions, published from 1995-2013, are housed in The Forum on Education Abroad's AIFS/AIFS Foundation Education Abroad Special Collection, housed in Waidner-Spahr Library on the Campus of Dickinson College.
