Abstract

The study presented here aims to enhance our understanding of intercultural learning by focusing on the link between the development of intercultural sensitivity and the first of Engle and Engle’s key study abroad components, program duration.

Adriana Medina–López–Portillo

Adriana Medina-López-Portillo is a faculty member at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and at McDaniel College. She offers training and workshops in intercultural communication and cultural diversity. Her research interests include intercultural sensitivity development and cultural differences.
